Worthing College 2nd Netball Team V Peter Symonds - a very close and even match from both teams. The 1st quarter ended on only 4 – 4 we then realised that we were in for a close match. The girls worked hard defending as well working to get the passing under control. Going into the 2nd quarter the girls settled into the game more and began passing more across the court, the quarter ending on Worthing College winning 9 – 8. Starting the 3rd the girls had to keep the pressure on with their defending and passing, they managed to keep Peter Symonds working hard and ended the 3rd quarter Worthing winning 12 – 11. With a quick change of two players into the 4th quarter the game became very quick and both sides giving a lot of turnovers, Worthing College did not manage to keep the pressure on in the last few seconds of the game and we lost 13 – 14 to Peter Symonds who managed to get the winning shot in the last 15 seconds of the game.
Peter Symonds named Elouise O’Connor-Wright as Player of the Match.
