Women's football 2 v 4 Sussex Downs Lewes

After making several changes to the starting line up and a change to their usual shape Worthing quickly found themselves 3-0 down inside 10 minutes. This quickly saw a change in shape and personnel this changed the game and Worthing bossed the game for the final 70 minutes but where unable to break down a Lewes side that sat deep and packed out the midfield looking to hold to the lead they gained.

The first half was a big disappointment for the girls and understood why they had the problems they did in the 1^st 15 minutes or so. The 2^nd half saw a great improvement with Megan Priest and Sofia Bouyi getting on the score sheet and several other Worthing players having chances and missing them.
